Throughout my senior year of high school, I developed my capstone project Pink Politics, a short documentary about the history of the color pink and its relationship with gender and femininity.
The Vote: For the Future, By the Future
In late 2021, I co-created a The Vote: For the Future, By the Future, a short documentary arguing for the federal voting age to be lowered to 16. The video was awarded third place in the eastern division in the 2022 C-SPAN StudentCam Competition. It was also screened at the Ramapo College High School Film Festival and the New Jersey Documentary Film Festival.
The Cold War, Propaganda, and the Birth of the Space Age Aesthetic: A Cultural Analysis
In 2023, I wrote, directed, and edited a short video essay on the influence of 1960s history and politics on space age fashion, and it was an official selection for the 2023 All American High School Film Festival.
